17-18/07/21 Maleny to Mapleton

The rain went away, the sky cleared, and the wind was really really cold. I enjoyed sleeping in a cosy bed in a cosy house at Maleny.

Good Morning!

We were astounded by the enormous amount of gardening, clearing, and general hard work Mrs and Mr F have achieved on their block overlooking Baroon Pocket Dam. We were so astounded that when we left we had to drive down to the Dam so we could look up at their house in the hills and appreciate their hard work even more.

Lake Baroon.

We spent the rest of yesterday and today catching up with family, eating really good pizza, discussing the pros and cons of alpacas as a family pet, appreciating Dalmations, seeing the beauty in wind fall wood, and drinking lots of tea and coffee.  There's not a lot  more to say so I will leave you with a few pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Grass trees at Baroon Pocket Dam.

Our digs at the farm.

Baroon Pocket Dam again.

Sunset and cows.

Unhappy little piggies; just been weaned and grumbling about it too.

The pig party.

Cow of the day.
